Every editorial decision at GRF is signed by a named member of this board. Names, affiliations, and ORCIDs are public. If a paper is published, accepted, revised, or rejected, the person responsible is on this page.
A society signs its work.
Predatory journals are anonymous. Real societies are not. We publish every member of the editorial board because peer review is only meaningful when there is a person accountable for the decision.
Applications for editorial roles are open year-round. Apply once, and your contributions accrue to a verified profile that follows you for the rest of your career, downloadable as a CV addendum and linkable on ORCID.

How a decision gets made
Editorial screen within 7 days
A named editor reviews scope, fit, and basic methodology. Desk rejections are explained in writing. Survivors go to peer review.
Two named reviewers, 6 to 8 weeks
Submissions go to two reviewers from the roster above whose expertise matches the topic. We name reviewers on accepted publications unless they request anonymity.
Decision letter, signed
Accept, revise, or reject. Every decision letter is signed by the handling editor and includes both reviewer summaries. No "Section Editor" hand-waving.
DOI on publication
Crossref-registered within 24 hours of acceptance. Indexed on the author's ORCID. Archived for permanent access. Citable from day one.
