Affordable, but not predatory.
Three commitments that distinguish a real society from a vanity press.
Peer review is real, named, and timed.
Every submission goes through identifiable reviewers. Average decision in 6-8 weeks. Acceptance rate published annually. No "review" that's just a payment receipt.
DOI on every publication.
Crossref-registered. Citable. Permanent. Your work shows up in scholarly search engines and on your ORCID profile, not just on a forum that might disappear.
Editorial board is public and accountable.
Names, affiliations, ORCIDs of our editors are on the site. Every editorial decision is logged. Members vote on board composition annually.
Asked & answered
Is a credit card required to join?
No. The Member tier is free forever and requires no card. You only pay when you choose to publish, register for a paid event, or upgrade to Fellow.
How is GRF different from Elsevier, Springer, or MDPI?
We're a society, not a publisher running on author APCs. Membership is the primary revenue. Publication fees exist but are roughly 20-30x cheaper than Western APCs, and members get further discounts. Our peer review is named, transparent, and timed. DOI is included with every publication.
Why pay anything if my work gets a DOI either way?
DOI registration with Crossref has a real per-record cost. Peer review takes editor and reviewer time. Hosting, indexing, and long-term archival have ongoing costs. The fee covers actual operations, not profit margin. Members underwrite the system; everyone else pays at cost.
Can I cancel Fellow Annual?
Yes, anytime from your dashboard. Your benefits remain active until the end of your paid period. No partial refunds, but no auto-renew traps either.
What payment methods are accepted?
UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking via Razorpay (for INR). International members can pay in USD via Stripe or PayPal. GST invoices provided for institutional reimbursement on request.
Can I upgrade from Annual to Lifetime later?
Yes. Contact support and we credit your remaining annual subscription against the Lifetime price. Common path is: try Annual for a year, then commit.
Are GRF journals UGC-CARE listed or NAAC recognised?
We're actively pursuing UGC-CARE listing for our journals. All publications are DOI-registered and indexed in Crossref. We'll publish indexing status updates as listings are confirmed.
What if my institution requires an invoice?
We provide GST-compliant invoices for Indian institutional reimbursement. Add your GSTIN at checkout. International members receive standard invoices suitable for grant reimbursement.
